    hey just found out i had the wrong part name its a water housing by what vw is telling me .. charging $280

    Oh I dont mean as a seat to travel in just a seat to sit and eat etc but can be made into a bed. Im looking at a foton atm same colour as my van so it would look sweet.

    Im trying a new tact with my interior set up and was wondering about rock and roll type beds out of earlier vws do you know anything about them or where to get one or if it would even be suitable?

    I've tentatively put you in for the Dyno day on Dec 13th, Guy. I suspect Seb probably won't show and was only throwing a spanner in the works to see if anyone would 'spark-up'.

    PS ... must have a chat to you some time about Andrew (gtimkv) and I planning a trip to Nurburgring approx. June / July in 2009 and who you think we'd be best to approach for sponsorship (seem to be a lot of open doors: Cancer Council Australia / Queensland, APR international, Several VAG places - Audi, Porsche, VW, etc. Better start putiing a pitch together ... I think bucket list for terminal cancer patient from Aus and see how that flies with the cancer councils. :)

    Guy, I'm trying to organise another Dyno day and the Polo boys who went to Neumans have spoken very highly of them. The consensus is for a meeting at Neumans on Dec 06th. I've got chemo this week ... any chance you could find out if Neumans might be ammenable to that date please? Also, so far, we have about 10 'takers' for this ... we'll need to know costs.

    Guy, after speaking with you on the phone about the engine stalling issue I experienced it only once or twice more. And after what you said I'm leaning towards a fuel supply problem it only does it some of the time. The rpm actually drops 500rpm from 3500 down to 3000 and then back up as normal, and realy only in 5th gear is it noticed. I'll still drop in and see you on Friday afternoon if thats OK.

    Guy, It seems no one is taking a dying man's wish seriously and stumping up for airfares to Germany for me to drive the 'Ring. So I thought 'Next best thing' and take a track day with GTI training. Just have to con my wife into spending the dosh. :nodder: Will see what I can do.
