Passat TDI 140kw - AdBlue tank problem - looking for advice

Hi everyone,

I am having a problem with the AdBlue system on my VW Passat 2016 TDI 140kw B8.

The adblue tank is faulty not showing correct level, there is a message on dash saying the engine will not turn on in 500km.

I checked with AUTEL scanner and is not reading how many liters inside the adblue tank.
Also I have a classic leak in the pipe connection to the injector.

I removed the tank to check the exactly model and order a new tank with level sensor, pump etc...

BUT

The price is insane! used one about $1500,00 aud

So, I was wondering if someone have been through the same problem and got to find our figure out how to fix it?
instead to replace the all tank?

any advices?
